Ugh…dandruff. The embarrassing white flakes that fly into your food, clothes and other people hardcore judge you for so you just fluff it into their food to (ha got em!).

Since I can even remember, the remedy for all your dandruff needs was Head & Shoulders shampoo! Which I’m not saying there is anything wrong with the product, but if you look it up on EWG Healthy Living app…it has some serious allergy concerns.

So, if you are looking for a more natural way to heal your dandruff look no further bombshell…I got you! I have never struggled with dandruff until this winter living in a very dry home and the best thing I have done to ease the irritation…drum roll pleaseeee!!

TEA TREE essential oil!! Tea tree is incredible for your skin…which blows my mind as to why I never thought to put it on my scalp.

Here is what to do, you can either:

Take 2 drops at night, rub it in your hands and lather it on your scalp for kind of an overnight mask (I only do this if I am washing my hair the next morning cause things can get oily). If you have sensitive skin dilute the oil with something like castor oil before applying.

OR

When you wash your hair, put your shampoo in your palm followed by 1-2 drops of tea tree and lather evenly into your scalp. Easy as that! **This is my favorite way to do it!

It takes time to notice a difference but it does give a sense of relief and hydration your scalp needs! One thing to note as well, make sure your hair products aren’t causing more irritation to your scalp. Buy natural shampoos with aloe vera, tea tree already in it, or apple cider vinegar.
