The best way to get your body into digestion mode…breath, meditate, relax!

You have more nerve endings in your gut than in your spine…whoa! This is why when people say “follow your gut” or “that gut feeling” it makes perfect sense. Your gut and brain are connected so it is always best to listen to your gut! BUT, because of this connection if stress is all you are in mentally, your gut is in that same tensed state.

This stress causes blood to rush away from the intestines and you, therefore, cannot digest. This is where the breathwork comes in.

Taking the time to just breath brings the focus back to the present, relaxes the mind helping relax your gut, and being in the rest and digest mode.
